“Receba!” is the first feature film by Pedro Perazzo and Rodrigo Luna. The plot of the film involves a purse stuffed with contents that are not only valuable but illegal – which is stolen. The search for the bag – and the small fortune it contains – involves a former boxer, a corrupt cop afraid of blood, his partner who is quitting smoking and the dangerous local crime chief, besides a young man who, in the wrong place at the wrong time, ends up in the eye of the hurricane.

The documentary, produced by Cavalo do Cão and Giro Planejamento Cultural, presents the daily life of Alan do Rap -Bahian rapper-, one of the precursors of Hip Hop in Salvador, who, to promote his music, used to break into the stages of famous bands that performed in the city. Alan’s journey shows the difficulties and injustices faced by young people from the suburbs who risk their life for art and end up struggling against a racist, oppressive, and violent system.
