The event was part of an unprecedented tour in Brazil and inaugurated the Giro Conecta project, held by Giro Planejamento Cultural.

AFROCIDADE

Afrocidade is recognized as one of the most potent musical novelties produced in Bahia today. The band proposes a mixture of politicized lyrics, which portray the struggles and resistance of the black people, with popular rhythms such as arrocha and pagode, besides afro music, Jamaican dub, reggae, ragga, and afrobeat.

Giro took responsibility for the agency of AfroCidade between the years 2018 and 2019, having in this period performed several shows in different cities. Also, there were special projects in partnership with the group that brought together for the first time on stage the singers Luedji Luna and Xênica França.
